 Marie-Josée Leduc grew up in Montréal, Canada. From the early age of 10, Marie-Josée was fascinated with painting faces, She couldn’t wait for her father to finish reading the newspaper so that she could put makeup on all the faces. Influenced very much by her mother’s artistic sensibilities; a trained classical pianist that would often bring her along to see rehearsals of classical recitals, Marie-Josée began working as a makeup artist while in college; designing makeup for fashion shows on the weekend.
Known for her flawless skin with an edge of color, Marie-Josée’s signature style has gained her considerable recognition in the industry. Marie-Josée understands the universal need to achieve perfect beauty, the need to be glamorous without looking made-up and the need by all women to have their beauty acknowledged, exalted and celebrated.
On her free time, Marie-Josée expresses herself on a canvas, oil and acrylics becomes her medium. Often found wondering at the MET or the MOMA for inspiration or some times just get a glance at an old classic movie. Influenced greatly by the work of Fellini, Bergman and Lynch.
Josée’s friendly personality and witty sense of humor along with her exceptional talent are the key ingredients that will continue to bring her success in beauty and fashion.
